Ok, fine but Gemeral was litteraly re-programmed and Omega being a part of the E-123 series was ofcourse going to be less obidient, considering just how the E-123 series is made, and how those robots function. And to make it even worse, this could've happened, and Metal Sonic could've switched sides, if Sonic just picked up Metal and took him to Tails for a bit of reprogramming, at the end of Sonic Heroes. But no, he had to leave him there for Eggman to do whatever he wants with him, and reprograme him to never betray him again
